Dylan Nichols credits her musical inspiration to her mother singing Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" to her as a lullaby. The nineteen-year-old singer/songwriter shifted her focus from piano to guitar at the age of eight, and by twelve was composing her own songs. She began gigging at fifteen in clubs in her native Los Angeles such as the Roxy, the Whisky, Temple Bar and, most frequently, Genghis Cohen as her staple venue. In May 2010 she completed her debut EP, "Acclimating." She now lives in New York where she continues to write and perform.
